Eff! Tales – The Season Finale

Eff! Tales – The Season Finale

The June edition of Eff! Tales is just days away. These are always fun events with some very interesting stories – but the educational component for the entrepreneur can’t be ignored. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend coming to hear some of these fail tales. They could save you a few headaches down the road.

This Wednesday is CoMotion’s last installment of Eff !Tales until the fall – don’t miss this one!

Eff!-Tale Wednesdays are always a nice way to break up the week. It’s some good, casual networking – over a Collective Arts brew or two – while listening to stories of the hiccups and f-ups that fellow entrepreneurs have endured. The line up of speakers I’ve seen at these events has been impressive. The diversity of businesses, as well as the speakers’ background stories, have provided some well-rounded insights that ensures everyone in attendance can glean some valuable knowledge. And this week’s guests are following that theme to a ‘T’.

Adam George Palios and Steven Hilliard

“They are Hamilton’s hometown homos, creating opportunities for community and queer economy while carving out spaces and events in #HamOnt. This is in addition to their careers in real estate and healthcare, renovating a house, and maintaining a relationship!”

Nadine Ubl

“Nadine is a CoFounder of Steel City Studio, partner at Good Human Apparel, and Project Manager and Construction Safety Officer for Historia Building Restoration Inc by day. Her F-tales journey includes 4 failed businesses (including 1 with an embarrassing name), and 1 completed business plan with hundreds of teachable f-ups.”

Sounds like a recipe for some damn good stories to me! Definitely an event that shouldn’t be missed. Enjoy some good company, delicious beverages and, if you’ve never been, the chance to check out a really cool coworking and event space.

The price of admission for this one is a very economical $0. (Hard to beat that kind of value!) All you have to do is RSVP for your free tickets here.

Puck drop is at 7pm – hope to see another big crowd for this one. These are always a good time!
