Far from being an ordinary office sharing space – the building has been designed exclusively for Hamilton’s young entrepreneurs, and utilizes a shared-resources concept that allows full range of service offerings to any sized business in a very affordable manner.
100% Natural Sunlight
Sitting in an office with artificial lighting all day while it’s bright and sunny outside can make for a miserable work environment. Which is why CoMotion has invested in installing the latest in sun tunnel innovation in both of our spaces, aiming to achieve as high as 100% natural light in all of our common work areas. The sun tunnels provide natural sunlight throughout the space to compliment the light coming in from our large windows.
New research has shown that working without natural light can be detrimental to your productivity, health and overall well being. Don’t just take our word for it, check out Northwestern Medicine and the University of Illinois’ report that natural light in the office boosts health. Office workers with more light exposure at the office had longer sleep duration, better sleep quality, more physical activity and better quality of life compared to office workers with less light exposure in the workplace. Compared to workers in offices without windows, those with windows receiving sunlight exposure during work hours slept an average of 46 minutes more per night.
Centrally located, in close proximity to Hamilton’s downtown core, CoMotion 302 offers a unique alternative to companies looking for office rentals, office leasing, a shared workspace, a co-op workspace or a virtual office.
Being right next to the train tracks and in walking distance to the rail trail and SOBI bikes makes CoMotion 302 a great location for who like to bike to the office.
Since the facility is tucked away in a residential neighbourhood area, members working out of the space can enjoy being creative in a friendly, quieter environment void of the typical city noise heard downtown.
